The introduction of myPVR 2.0 sees a number of key changes in both the look and the hardware specification.

  • Additional case choices are now available
  • Manual case fan control now disabled
    • System dynamically controls fan speed based on CPU temperature

  • Dual Core CPU as standard
  • Dual Layer DVD±RW Drive now has DVD-RAM support

    • Optical Digital Audio available as an option
  • We can now support Component Video out
  • SATA hard drive as standard
    • Quieter IDE hard drive available as an option

Software

  • Software is now based on MythTV 0.20
  • All existing customers have been upgraded to MythTV 0.20
